Regine Velasquez has eventually disclosed her miscarriage prior to her wedding with talented singer-song writer, comedianne and actor, Ogie Alcasid way back in 2010 which was a surprising revelation from the superb singer and actress.
It would have been Regine’s first baby with Ogie Alcasid. This traumatic experience has made her decision to join the Victory Christian Fellowship – a popular born-again Christian in metro Manila area.
Regine revealed: “Konti-konti, pumupunta na ako sa Victory [Christian Fellowship] slowly, slowly. My husband didn’t want to force me, so slowly, nag-build ulit yung relationship ko with Christ.”
She also divulged that she suffered depression for a short period of time after the devastating incident.
Subsequently, Velasquez realized that it’s not the end of it all and she’s more determined to move on with her life this time with strong will to overcome her past distressing ordeal.
Her unshaken spirit paid off when she finally gave birth to a baby boy named Nathaniel James, or Nate for short after a year of her marriage to Ogie Alcasid.
Nathaniel is Regine’s first child who is now four years old, whereas, Ogie so far has two beautiful daughters with erstwhile wife and Miss Australia, Michelle Van Emiren who’s now leaving in Australia.
