The Philippine entertainment industry just lost another fine TV and film director in the person of Francis Xavier Pasion who was found dead inside his house in Quezon City on March 6. His friends are still in state of shock regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.
Pasion has just finished directing the ABS-CBN teleserye, “On The Wings of Love,” with James Reid and Nadine Lustre playing the lead roles as Clark and Lea.
Francis Pasion graduated at Ateneo De Manila University. He was 38 years old at the time of his death.
According to film director, Atty. Joji Alonso, the lifeless body of Francis was discovered inside the bathroom of his home in Quezon City.
The SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives) is currently undertaking a thorough investigation related to the incident and have yet to establish the real cause of his death.
Francis Pasion, prior to his death directed some of the popular drama series at ABS-CBN, including Nathaniel, Dyesebel,My Little Juan, Princess and I, Kahit Konting Pagtingin, My Binondo Girl and Sabel.
He was also the director of the following movies: Bwaya (2014), Sampaguita National Flower (2010) and Jay (2008),
The friends and crew team who worked with Director Pasion, immediately sent their words of sympathy through the social media, upon knowing of the untimely demise of Francis.
