One of the most beautiful and sultry actress in Philippine movie and television, Angel Locsin is now in Singapore and is scheduled to undergo a procedure to treat her back injury. She is still in the process of undertaking a series of tests to identify the exact nature of her injury and to ensure that an accurate method of surgery will be performed on her to safeguard and secure her treatment of disc problem to be precise and correct.
Angel in her Instagram post said: “HERE in singapore with ate @jd_ching waiting for more tests in prep for my procedure in the next few days! let’s do this geltot! #neurospinesg.”
She is supposed to play the role of the iconic “Darna,” a Filipino comics superheroine based on the fictional character created by writer Mars Ravelo and was scheduled to be produced by ABS-CBN, Star Cinema.
Eventually, Angel Locsin have mutually agreed with ABS-CBN, Kapamilya management that she will no longer do the “Darna” movie due to her back injury.
The reasons being is that it will be hard for Angel to perform strenuous physical activities such as lifting, using of harness and doing different stunts, all of which will be vital and required of her for the action scenes in the movie, and doing such vigorous physical activities will further jeopardize her health and make way for a more serious injury.
Apparently, ABS-CBN management is still searching and considering a possible replacement from other Kapamilya stars to do the “Darna” movie. Speculations are still running high for the feasible candidate who will be credible enough to play the role of the iconic superhero.
Several names have popped up such as Nadine Lustre, Liza Soberano and Maja Salvador. However, there’s a rumour that the Channel 2 bosses are waiting for the result of the surgery and complete recovery of Angel, who could still be the potential star to resume the “Darna” role in the movie.
The Kapamilya executives are allegedly willing to wait for Angel’s total healing and recuperation after the operation.
Meanwhile, another captivating and alluring actress, and one of the stars of the Philippine romantic drama television series “Pasion de Amor,” Ellen Adarna suffered a knee injury in a ski accident while spending a holiday in Japan.
The beautiful actress shared on her Instagram account a photo of her riding in a wheelchair while boarding a plane, and said in her post : “This is what happens when you [YOLO] an intermediate slope! I did not follow instructions. Third time going home on a wheelchair! Kaya pa!”
Ellen was in a ski resort in Niseko, Japan when the accident happened.
Adarna also posted a photo of the spot where the accident occurred with a captioned: “the slope where it happened” last Tuesday. She has been documenting her vacation in Japan on her Instagram page to, show it to her friends and to have a detailed account of her activities in Japan.
Ellen wrote on her Instagram: “So …I woke up to the view of where i injured my knee. Surprise! I have mixed feelings about being stuck in the room with this view …No skiing for me today.”
She visited various areas in Osaka such as Port of Kobe, Universal Studios Japan and Dotonburi and she visited Nara Park and toured Kyoto as well.
Despite her injury, Ellen is still enjoying every bit of her stay in Japan.
