When my family went for a holiday in the Philippines, some of my good friends gave me the heads up about a superb buffet restaurant that I simply can’t miss. They were talking about Vikings Luxury-Buffet Restaurant. I was really keen to try this restaurant because I heard it specialised in Filipino, Asian and European dishes.
As we stepped inside the restaurant, we were welcomed by trained and courteous attendants and eventually led to our table where we had prior reservation. To our astonishment, there were varieties of dishes ready for us to try so of course, we wasted no time in getting our hands dirty! We didn’t know at first where to start because we had an array of scrumptious foods to taste and try.
The dishes available were limitless which included delicatessens, bread rolls, cakes, fruits and bottomless drinks. Their sushi’s, prawns, angus beef, lamb chops, dumplings, tempura salmon, pizzas as well as our native lechon special were to die for and they’ve got a wide range of desserts to choose from as well. There’s so much variety that I didn’t where to start first – name it they’ve got it!
I was literally full to the brim after a hearty meal and in fact, I had to adjust my belt to make way for my bulging belly – it was definitely an experience I will never forget.
We went back to our hotel very satisfied that we got our money’s worth. Vikings is hands down one of the finest luxury buffet restaurants in town and next time we head back to the Philippines our first stop will be Vikings.
