Liberal Party vice presidential bet, Leni Robredo appealed to her supporters to cease from arguing against her rivals and just remain composed.
The camp of Congresswoman Leni Robredo declared that she’s the sure winner among her opponents in the vice presidential race particularly against her closest foe, Bongbong Marcos considering that 99.5 % of the votes were already tallied.
According to Boyet Dy of Team Leni, it’s now impossible for Senator Bongbong Marcos to catch-up and beat Robredo mathematically speaking based on her advantage versus Marcos.
It was revealed during the latest count of the Comelec that Robredo is ahead by 257,567 votes against Marcos with more or less 99.51% of ballots already counted.
Only nine municipalities with their certificates of canvass remain to be counted. However, it was analysed that the totals will only reach up to 168,988 votes and Senator Marcos has no way to win even if he gets all the votes.
Meanwhile, Congresswoman Robredo earnestly requested her supporters to embrace their support for the presumptive president, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte bearing in mind that there’s no more doubt now of her winning the vice presidency. It’s time for everyone to move-on caused by the tense election process.
