In a night filled with sparkle, festive cheer, and gratitude, Star Magic ushered in the yuletide season with the “Star Magical Christmas” ball on November 19 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, showcasing the talent and loyalty of its artists.
The white carpet of the event witnessed Star Magic artists donning their dazzling yuletide looks, with Joshua Garcia as Willy Wonka, Andrea Brillantes adding an elegant touch to the Christmas parol, and the dynamic duo of Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan embodying the holiday versions of Barbie and Ken, among other iconic characters.
In the spirit of giving, Star Magic initiated a toy drive to benefit the children of Bantay Bata 163. Prior to the ball, artists participated in the “Share the Magic” initiative, spreading love by assisting charities of their choice.
During the event, these charitable efforts were recognized, with the “Fractured” stars Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Raven Rigor winning the BingoPlus Award for exceptional magic sharing. They received the grand prize of P100,000 for their chosen beneficiary, Ephesus: Home for Girls.
Following closely were the stars of “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” winning P50,000 as second placers for the Pawssion Project, and the third-placed team of Alexa Ilacad, Nonong Ballinan, and Eric Nicolas receiving P30,000 for their “Laban Lungs” benefit concert supporting former ABS-CBN head writer Sherwin Concepcion, currently battling lung cancer.
In addition to charitable endeavors, Star Magic honored the unwavering loyalty and dedication of select artists. This year’s loyalty awardees included 25-year Star Magic talents Desiree del Valle and Andrei Felix, along with Carla Guevarra-Laforteza (24 years), Igi Boy Flores, Jane Oineza (22 years), John “Sweet” Lapus (22 years), and Ketchup Eusebio (21 years).
