The avid fans and followers of the AlDub loveteam once again felt the kilig factor when Maine Mendoza openly shared on her Instagram account telling Alden Richards in her post that Alden already has a special place in her heart come what may.
Maine said in her post: ‘We might not know what the future holds but you should know that no matter what happens, you already have this special place in my heart. And I want you to know that even if we end up being together or not, that spot is yours—forever.’
Maine Mendoza also posted on her Instagram account, following their first year celebration as a loveteam (AlDub), an endearing message especially written for Alden Richards in a rhyming pattern.
Maine also posted a photo showing her kissing Alden on his cheek during their film’s Imagine You and Me shooting in Italy previously.
Initially, in her caption, she evoked that it was an extra ordinary coincidence how she ended up meeting Alden.
She remarked: ‘Meeting you was fate; it was wonderful, it was miraculous, it was extraordinary and indeed sweet serendipity.
‘For some, it was nothing but luck and plain coincidence; but for me it was something revelatory about the notion that miracles like this do exist.
‘God made our story extra special; He let everybody witness every single thing from the very beginning. It was something unexplainable.’
Maine also called to mind that fateful moment when they smiled back at each other in Eat Bulaga!, and the momentous day when they became a love team.
She resumed: ‘I glanced and smiled at you and all I could do was wonder how did that simple smile changed both our worlds. It changed everything—it changed us.
‘What happened on the 16th day of July 2015 will live on in people’s hearts until the end of time.’

Maine and Alden were emotional while exchanging words of appreciation with each other during the anniversary episode celebration of Eat Bulaga! “Kalye Serye” last July 16.
Kapuso singers and Bryan White rendered some inspiring songs during the last portion of the celebration at Broadway Centrum.
Afterwards, Maine and Alden emerged on the stage and sang their theme song composed by Maine herself in their movie Imagine You and Me.
Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza appeared teary-eyed and started to become emotional as they sang when fans surrounded them on stage with balloons on their hands.
