The popular cosplayer, actress and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition big winner, Myrtle Sarrosa is impressively vying for academic excellence in spite of her busy work schedules. Although she’s currently in the process of finishing her new album and acting in a TV Series at the same time, she still makes sure that she’s focused on balancing her studies and work at the same time.
Myrtle is currently a graduating student of the University of the Philippines doing broadcast communication and a hopeful candidate for cum laude.
The intelligent actress said in an interview: “In life kasi, kailangang pinaghahandaan mo lahat ng mangyayari, that’s why hindi mo dapat pinapabayaan yung studies mo. Gusto ko rin maging inspiration sa maraming tao na dapat no matter what you do in life, dapat tatapusin mo pa rin ang pag-aaral mo. Iyon ang magho-hone sa’yo to be a better person eventually.”
When asked about how she manages her time despite being so busy, Myrtle said: “Ang ginagawa ko lang talaga is kailangan mo i-motivate ang sarili mo na no matter what you do, always give your all. If you’re going to do something, huwag yung basta-basta lang. Magpu-put ka na lang din ng effort, ibigay mo na lahat.”
In the meantime, when she was spotted for her singing talent particularly when she joined “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” Myrtle enthusiastically shared her experience when she said: “Nung nag-‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ ako, nakita nila na may talent daw ako sa pagra-rap tapos sinabihan ako ni Sir Gary Valenciano na kailangan ko to i-pursue. True to that, four months later, nabigyan na nga ako ng opportunity kaya sobrang excited na ako sa album.”
Myrtle Sarrosa revealed that she wrote most of the songs in her album describing about her life and love stories where the listeners for sure can relate to her personal experience in life through her songs.
She remarked: “Yung puso ko ngayon, naku, nag-iisa. Kaya yung mga kanta na sinusulat ko ngayon, for sure makaka-relate yung in love and lalo na yung mga single. Exciting yung mga songs.”
