The talented actor, film director and film producer, Cesar Montano revealed that he has a slight resentment against estranged wife Sunshine Cruz for not allowing him to see his children for a while now due to the on-going legal battle between them.
In an interview Cesar said: “Pag sinabi ko yung dahilan, masasaktan lang yung nanay nila, eh… Huwag na lang. Mabuti pang huwag na lang.”
Relating to the legal feud with his estranged wife Montano remarked: Ang annulment, nandiyan pa, it’s still ongoing… working progress. Ang iba naman na-dismiss na, but of course, I don’t wanna talk about it. Pag ganyan kasi, nai-involve na ang mga bata. Kung kaming dalawa lang, sige, magsasalita na ako.”
Cesar disclosed that until now the legal dispute is still on-going between him and Sunshine to grant him the rights and privileges to see and be with his children.
Montano asserted: “I have all the rights to see my children. Malungkot isipin, pero hindi pa rin ako nalulungkot nang tuluyan dahil alam ko darating ang panahon na magkakasama pa rin kami at magiging masaya pa rin kami.”
In spite of the circumstances between them, Cesar divulged that he’s still a very good provider to his three children with Sunshine and affirmed his commitment and responsibility being the father of his three daughters.
“Kahit hindi naman kami nagkikita, ayun, naka-enroll sila for 2016. Buong taon ko silang binayaran. Mabuting sinasabi ko po para hindi iba ang nakakarating sa inyo. From day one, ako naman ang nagpapaaral sa mga bata.
Remember, hindi naman siya [Sunshine] nagtatrabaho nun.Intentionally, hindi ko naman talaga siya pinagtrabaho nun. Gusto ko hands-on siya sa mga bata.”
Montano added: “From time immemorial, ako ang nagpapaaral until to this day ako ang nagpapaaral, and it’s my passion. Walang makakapagtanggal sa akin nun.”
When Cesar was asked a straightforward question about his love life and the truth about a beauty queen he’s apparently dating, he was quick to say that he’s still single and not in a relationship.
He said: “Open na open po ako. Single and happy po ako. I’m just committed to raising my children well and to give them good education,”
Montano added: “I’m so inspired with my work, with my paintings, yung sa mga bagong pelikulang naka-line up… After elections, may mga pelikula akong gagawin.”
Cesar Montano is quite busy nowadays campaigning for his partylist Aangat Tayo, hoping that they will win in the coming election.
Meanwhile, Cesar said that TV5 Kapatid Network is cooking up a new talent show for him entitled The King of Masked Singer and scheduled to be aired in July.
