Pilipinas God Talent judge, Robin Padilla revealed in an interview that he is not keen on doing a teleserye even if he gets asked to play a starring role.
Robin said: “Hindi na. Sa mga bata na lang ‘yan, sa mga puwede pang magpuyat… Gusto ko na lang talaga kasama ko ‘yung mga tao, ‘yung enjoy. Hindi ko na kayang mag-drama. Sa iba na lang natin ibigay ‘yun.”
Padilla is hard-pressed hosting “Game ng Bayan” and as one of the judges on “Pilipinas Got Talent” reality talent competition show on the ABS-CBN Kapamilya network.
He expressed that he’s inspired in doing the game show for the reason that he gets the opportunity to interact with a lot of people and most essentially to enlighten the communities to share back what they have.
Alluding to the concept of the game show, “Game ng Bayan,” Robin remarked: “Gusto talaga namin na isang programa na ‘yung ating pagka-Pilipino mabuhay kasi sa matagal na panahon parang nasanay tayo sa relief-relief, tanggap-tanggap. This time, maging tayo naman ang bayani, maging tayo naman ang magbibigay.”
He also revealed that he appreciates the fact that the show stimulates Filipinos to support and aid other people.
Robin said: “Hindi mahalagang mahirap ka, hindi ‘yun. Ang importante dito ‘yung pagkabayani nasa puso. Kung gusto mong tumulong sa barangay ‘yon ‘yung ine-encourage naming.”
He stated that the “Game ng Bayan” makes him feel younger as if he’s only 15 years old.
The action star said: “Mas makulit yata kami doon sa mga tao kasi masaya talaga kami na parang fiesta. Nong pumunta kami sa isang barangay, naging fiesta siya, yung parang bumabalik kami sa pagkabata… Ang dami ko ngang nagagawa don na hindi ko na nagagawa.”
