The talented and prolific indie actor Allen Dizon who is currently playing the role of Julia Montes’ father in “Doble Kara” is working like a round the clock bee at the moment, doing indie films left, right and centre.
Only recently, he finished shooting the film, “Walang Katapusang EDSA,”directed by Alvin Yapan.
Allen, in his initial statement said: “Target na maipalabas ito sa next year sa anniversary ng EDSA People’s Power. Tatlo ang story nito… ‘Taxi Driver,’ ‘MRT,’ at saka ‘Pedestrian.Ako ang bida doon sa ‘Taxi Driver.’”
Allen also finished doing another movie, “Iadya Mo Kami,” where he plays the role of a priest.
Dizon said: “Napaka-tame ko sa pelikulang ito. Napakabait na pari ang character ko.”
The busy actor is really enthralled in a series of movies when just lately, he had done “Sekyu,”directed by Joel Lamangan and written by Ricky Lee. He co-stars with Melai Cantiveros, Sunshine Dizon, Rez Cortez, Kristoffer King, Kiko Matos, Racquel Villavicencio and child stars, Solomon Mark de Guzman and Jenica Mae Amores.
Now there’sa nasty rumour going around that Julia Montes has gotten a big head and that she’s acting really bitchy on the set of Doble Kara. Detractors are calling Montes “maldita” because apparently she’s acting like a prima donna on set.
Montes plays the role of Allen’s daughter in ABS-CBN’s teleserye Doble Kara, and when Allen was asked to comment about the issue he has nothing but praises for Julia. He said: “Si Julia, napakabait at saka napaka-professional. Atsaka alam ko ang respeto niya sa mga actors katulad ko na… siyempre ahead kami sa kanya.
Lahat kami sa set, para kaming isang pamilya na nagluluto at nagdadala ng pagkain para magkakasamang kumain, yung ganun… Masaya. Masaya kami lahat sa set. Si Julia, para siyang bata kapag nasa set. Lahat ng pagkain kinakain niya at gustong tikman lahat.”
Well there you go folks, this statement released by Allen Dizon about Julia, only proved once and for all that Julia Montes is indeed a kind hearted person, showing her respect to her peers and fellow actors, irrespective of age and gender.
