The talented singer and actor JM de Guzman is once again in the centre of controversy due to a drug related 1111issue.
As some of you may recall, JM went to rehab back in 2014 due to excessive drug use which detrimentally affected his professional career as an actor – he stopped for a while to undergo drug rehabilitation program. He revealed previously that it was the main reason why he stopped for a year from his showbiz appearances to recover from his drug addiction.
De Guzman’s ardent fans and followers were shocked when he posted on his Instagram account a series of cryptic messages which were every alarming indeed.
JM de Guzman, who even shaved his head days after actress, Jessy Mendiola, his former girlfriend released a statement confirming their break up, in one of his Instagram posts, sent a daring message to his Dad, Ronniel de Guzman. He said “are you going to send me to rehab again?”
In a related posts, De Guzman sent a retaliatory remark to his critics, he wrote: “Pag masaya ako nakakalungkot. Pag tahimik may problema. Pag malungkot naka droga. Guys …eto ako. Live with it. But comment whatever you want. I’ll still be at your service.”
De Guzman requested his fans and followers to be kind by showing their respect and support for him as he continues his journey towards a complete recovery.
He remarked: “17 months in rehab. 6 months I’ve been running the program. Hear our story, respect our journey. We can be also a big help in our society if you just let us and free us from the undeniable stigma that literally chokes us every day.
Some of us risk our lives to answer some questions that might be a big help in the future. Hopefully the kids’ path are cleared if we are supported not discriminated. Thanks. We don’t promote drugs. We are the drugs. Peace.”
