Bea Alonzo just confirmed that she doesn’t have a Facebook or Twitter account – yes, you read right.
In spite of being an actress, Bea said in an interview that she doesn’t want to reveal almost everything about her private life and activities online. But she does have an Instagram account because she loves taking pictures and appreciates looking at photos in the Instagram postings.
Bea said: “Actually bago pa lumabas ang Instagram, madami sa akin ang nagtatanong kung bakit wala akong Twitter and Facebook accounts. Actually I keep my private life really private. I only give a part of myself to the public, that’s why I never opened a Twitter account and a Facebook account. I only opened an Instagram account because I like looking at pictures and I like posting pictures.”
She added: “It’s not really sharing too much. It’s not really about telling everyone who I am and what I do every day. It’s more of posting really nice pictures of my travels. Kasi mas gusto ko na nakikilala ako through my movies and not through my personal life.”
In the meantime, Bea Alonzo is now actively promoting her latest and forthcoming movie “A Second Chance,” the sequel to one of the most loved movies of the past years, the 2007 hit film “One More Chance,” which she co-starred with John Lloyd Cruz.
Bea said of her latest movie: “May pressure talaga. Lalo na ngayon, may social media na. Anyone can freely put their comments on social media. Unlike nung 2007, wala eh.”
“Pero, ako kasi, parte ng trabaho namin ‘yung pressure. Kung walang pressure, hindi na siya fun, hindi na siya colorful. Meron kang ganung gusto mong adrenaline rush. Masarap siya.” Bea added.
