The Mega star has finally reacted to her daughter, KC Concepcion, and actor Piolo Pascual’s reconciliation after their big split a few years ago.
Sharon admitted in an interview that she’s very sorry and quite remorseful that she actually spoke against Piolo at the height of his controversial breakup with KC Concepcion.
PEP recently interviewed Sharon Cuneta who confessed that she actually regrets what she said against Pascual back when he and Concepcion have just split up.
Sharon said: “Alam mo, kapag ina ang isang tao, siyempre parang mas gugustuhin mo ikaw ang masaktan kaysa sa anak mo. Hindi lang naman ‘yun ang relationship niya. May iba naman. Never akong nangialam, ‘di ba? Siguro that time lang, hindi ka masasaktan kung hindi mo mahal ‘yung tao. So, I really treated him [Piolo] as part of the family. Pero tapos na ‘yun, I’m very happy na okay na sila.”
The fans were surprised when KC Concepcion posted a photo of her together with Piolo Pascual last month during their stay in London, while performing for “ASAP Live 20 in London” – it drew various reactions from the netizenz.
Pascual said in an interview that their picture “is not even long overdue.”
Piolo also added: “We’ve been okay. Ever since her lola passed, we’ve settled our differences. Kristina and I are okay. Wala naman na [‘yung mga issue]. Siguro na-magnify lang because there was a photo and it was in London. But we would greet each other kapag nagkita naman kami. Walang problema. We’ve always been okay.”
He further emphasized that patching up his differences with KC Concepcion is “a thorn off my chest.”
Piolo is more peaceful now and very happy that the Mega star, Sharon Cuneta has finally smoked the peace pipe.
