The search is finally over for”Mr Pastillas” when Angelica Yap, better known in noontime show “It’s Showtime” as “Pastillas Girl,” decided to give the bunch of red roses, in last Saturday’s episode to a lucky guy – indicating that he was the chosen one to get the better opportunity to win Angelica Yap’s heart just in case he is still determined to pursue her even after the show.
The three aspirants, Richard “Chard” Parajinog, Christopher “Topher” Labao and Michael Enriquez, were shown standing side by side with an individual table in front of them, bearing a bouquet of flowers (roses) on top of each table hidden in a shade. The trio were seen standing silently, but anxiously waiting to who among them will be the favoured one and the most appropriate choice for “Pastillas Girl.” Whoever received a bunch of red roses, was the rightful and fortunate guy that Angelica Yap aka Pastillas Girl has chosen to continue his journey to court her.
Richard “Chard” Parajinog received the bouquet of red roses that the three other suitors were hoping to get. It was a delightful and romantic sight to see Angelica and Richard dancing together to a tune of sweet and romantic music after “Chard” was selected by Yap. It was considered as such a special moment for the two as they chatted and looked at each other longingly as Randy Santiago created the romantic mood by singing a love song.
During the interview, Angelica Yap was asked, the reasons about her decision to select Richard as her most favored “Mr Pastillas” over the other two admirers, Michael and Christopher.
Angelica modestly answered: “Kasi very humble si Chard. Alam naman natin na may kaya si Chard but hindi niya iyun ginagamit as one step ahead sa kanila.” She also added: “Pero lahat sila mabait, lahat sila deserving. Hirap na hirap ako mamili. May mga nights na hindi ako makatulog. Pero may isa kang person na kailangan mong piliin na kasi hindi mo makukuha lahat, and I think it’s Chard.”
Yap was only trying to say that the big edge for Richard to win Angelica’s wary heart was his virtue of humility.
In an interview, Angelica was also asked of her willingness to entertain Richard, if he is going to continue to pursue her as her formal suitor, she answered: “We’ll see. Kung itutuloy niya naman ‘yung pinapakita niya on-cam and off-cam, I think okay sa akin.”
Richard has already conveyed previously, his desire to court Angelica. However, he revealed that prior to any move that he’s planning to do, he said that he wants to know more about Yap personally.
Angelica was again asked what will be her particular message for Richard, she replied: “Sana huwag kang magbago. Sana kung gaano ka-humble kita nakilala at kung ano ‘yung nagustuhan ko sa ’yo as a person, sana ganon ka pa rin kahit tumagal tayo off-cam as friends.”
In a related development, Richard remarked: “Hindi ko mapapangako sa iyo lahat pero sinisigurado ko na mamahalin kita.” This was the message of Parajinog for Yap, after he was chosen by her as “Mr Pastillas,” during “It’s Showtime, Biyaheng Cebu” held at the Hoops Dome, Lapu-Lapu City, on Saturday. Richard added: “Napakasaya ko po na napili ako ni Angel, unexpected po kasi akala ko si Topher ‘yung mananalo. Napakasaya ko po ngayon. Sana mas lalalim pa ‘yung pakikipagkilala ko sa kanya.”
