What a pleasant surprise it was to the followers and viewers of “It’s Showtime,” as they enjoyed watching the show last Saturday, celebrating its 6th year anniversary presentation at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
One of the highlights of the show was the number presented by the three most popular and sought after love teams of ABS-CBN Kapamilya stars, James Reid and Nadine Lustre(Jadine), Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo (Katniel) and Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano (Lizquen), when they sang the theme songs of their respective teleseryes.
The ardent fans of James and Nadine couldn’t contain their joy and excitement as they watched their idol James sing and dedicate an inspiring second song for Nadine with their faces so close and they almost kissed each other!
Another part of the show that drew intense thrill and pleasure from the fans and crowd at the Araneta Coliseum was the theme song of the hit primetime series, “Forevermore” sang by Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano that proved once and for all that their tandem is one of the country’s hottest love teams of today.
The tandem of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo is without doubt a crowd drawer as well, when the avid fans of Kathniel wildly cheered to the amusement and enjoyment of the jam-packed Araneta Coliseum, who ardently joined the supporters of the Kathniel love team.
But the most shocking and interesting part of the show, was the performance of Vice Ganda while he was wearing his guise of rock star “Viceral”. Much to the amusement of viewers and audiences at the Araneta Coliseum. Vice kissed his “It’s Showtime” co-host and singer Karylle, on her lips and Karylle was simply stunned! Eventually Karylle joined Vice Ganda while he was performing on stage.
Vice also sang Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl,” as part of “It’s Showtime” opening number anniversary celebration, proving Vice Ganda’s versatility as a singer, comedian and an actor.
