The blind item about Enrique Gil getting drunk on the plane and getting slapped by his onscreen partner is finally confirmed – Enrique himself admitted to the incident.
In an interview with Mario Dumaual on TV Patrol last September 11, he admitted that he did get drunk in a flight on the way to London last week and he apologized to Jessy Mendiola, JM de Guzman (Jessy’s boyfriend), and to all the other stars involved in the said incident who were also on the same flight with him for causing disturbance inside the plane.
He confessed “I had some drinks sa plane. I mean, more than I should be having. So, as a result, things got out of hand. At dahil po dun, I wanna apologize to my brothers and sisters from Star Magic. I sincerely apologize to Jessy, to JM (De Guzman, Jessy’s boyfriend) if ever I offended him in any way, I’m sorry. Tao lang, nagkakamali, we all makes mistakes but you own up to it, you learn from it and you move forward.”
